K.L.Mehta Dayanand Public Sr. Sec. School, No.2, Sector-16, Faridabad (under the aegis of Maharishi Dayanand Education Society) belongs to the family of the famous K.L.Mehta Dayanand Instititions, the seed of which was sown by Mahatma Kanhaiya Lal Mehtaji, a magnanimous soul dedicated all his life to the cause of education who believed in imparting education to all irrespective of caste, colour or race and especially to economically weaker society.

Truly a shining star in the firmament of education whose quest for knowledge and keen interest in imparting education to others resulted in laying a firm foundation of learning.

Established in 1974, the school got its affiliation with CBSE Board (Affiliation No. 530013) on 1st May 1982 which has been extended upto 31st March 2018. The school is sprawling over 2.50 acres of land covering 12071 sq. mtr. With built up area 1409.69 sq. mtr. and the playground of 3720 sq. mtr.. Regarding other facilities the school has provided one room each for indoor games, dance and music, arts and crafts and health and medical checkup.

Academic brilliance alone will not suffice in today’s ever evolving and a highly competitive world. Hence, the school lays emphasis on the holistic development of the students by encouraging participation in extracurricular activities and application of information technology and multimedia in the ‘Teaching – Learning process’.
